Gallup's IT team keeps associates around the world connected, equipped and ready to work. As a summer intern, you'll be part of that effort, providing technical support, troubleshooting problems and gaining experience with the systems and technology that support Gallup's mission to improve workplaces and lives.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure all Gallup users, including visiting associates, have world-class technical support to do their jobs perfectly
- Build close relationships with Gallup associates and educate them in a Microsoft Windows end-user and server environment and in an Apple Mac environment
- Learn new processes and systems quickly and multitask while maintaining a customer-oriented focus
- Support all office technology and equipment by troubleshooting workstations and workstation software, maintaining network equipment (e.g., file servers, routers and switches), and monitoring all critical business systems and applications for uptime and availability
What You Need
- Enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program in computer science, computer engineering or a related field required
- Enrollment at a college or university within a 250-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska, required
- Anticipated graduation between August 2027 and May 2028 preferred; will consider 2029 graduates
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer of 2027 required
- A commitment to working on-site at Gallup's Omaha office Monday through Thursday required, with the option to work remotely on Friday
- Broad knowledge of networking, computer hardware and software applications required
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues required
- Experience working in a Windows user and server environment required
- Experience supporting all Microsoft Office applications preferred; Apple Mac experience a plus
- Eligibility to work in the United States required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
What We Offer
- A full-time summer 2027 internship that pays $18 to $22 per hour
- The potential to work up to 20 hours per week during the school year, depending on business demands, and a potential full-time job offer upon graduation, based on Gallup's business need and intern performance
