Job summary

Integra in Houston is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to assist customers with questions and problems related to computer systems, hardware, and software. The role involves remote and in-person support, guiding users through configuration and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.

You will respond to inquiries via email, chat, phone or in person, document solutions, help implement ConnectWise Manage, and collaborate with cybersecurity to rollout tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with networking protocols and hardware.
• Strong proficiency with Windows operating systems.
• ERP software familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tech inquiries via email, chat, phone, or in person.
• Provide technical support by researching questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstations.
• Help implement and maintain ConnectWise Manage and control solutions.
• Work closely with Cybersecurity team to maintain and rollout tools.
• Prepare new devices or reimage existing devices (up to 3 per week).
• Maintain inventory of devices in the inventory tracking system.
• Provide answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding through corrective steps.
• Improve client references by writing and maintaining documentation.
• Participate in development of client training programs by identifying learning issues.
• Accommodate client disabilities by recommending devices and techniques.
• Improve system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
• Update job knowledge by educational opportunities and networking.
• Accomplish information systems goals by completing related tasks as needed.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory service.
