Upstate Services Group is seeking a Help Desk Technician to deliver first-line technical support for employees, addressing hardware, software, and network issues. You will install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals while guiding users through solutions.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, collaboration within the IT team, and ongoing learning. Prior IT support experience and familiarity with Microsoft 365 are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of help desk or IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 OS.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, networking basics, and remote support tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• CompTIA A+ or other IT certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of PBX systems and virtualization systems are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and onsite.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
• Document and track requests in the Helpdesk system.
• Assist with onboarding of new employees and equipment prep.
• Stay up-to-date with company systems, policies, and procedures.
