Job summary

Associated Grocers Northeast is seeking an IT Help Desk professional to be the first point of contact for end users, providing technical assistance via phone, email, and the company help desk system. You will create and manage support tickets, document resolutions, and guide users through solutions.

The role covers remote and on-site support for computer, network, application, and voice systems, with installations and updates of hardware/software.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, maintain & repair computer hardware and peripherals.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Proficient with office productivity apps, especially Microsoft 365.
• Willingness to learn and support ERP, mission-critical apps, and remote monitoring tools like NinjaOne.
• Strong listening, and clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Optimistic problem-solver with drive to resolve IT issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for end users via phone, email, and help desk system; create and manage tickets and document resolutions.
• Assess support level needed with guidance from ICT Team.
• Provide prompt, courteous support and resolve issues without escalation when possible.
• Deliver remote and on-site support for computer, network, application, and telephone-related issues.
• Perform hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates.
• Liaise between staff and IT department; ensure clear communication and timely follow-up on requests.
