Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Farmington is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician Level I to provide first-line support to end-users. You will respond to inquiries via phone, email or in-person, guide users through solutions, and document all requests in the ticketing system.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–2 years of helpdesk experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to diagnose basic hardware, software, and network issues. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years Helpdesk Technician experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and listening skills required.
• Research and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, including new employee IT orientation.
• Prioritize, respond to and resolve IT-related issues promptly, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Log and track all support requests in the ticketing system.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
• Guide users through step-by-step solutions for technical issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams or vendors as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance on IT systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and update software and hardware as required.
