Job summary

Hillside Public Schools is seeking a Computer Help Desk Support to assist the district's administrative and academic technology. The role involves resolving help-desk requests, maintaining hardware/software systems, and supporting networked devices across the campus.

The candidate should have CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications, a high school diploma, and 5+ years of help desk experience. Full-time position with benefits and on-site work in Hillside, NJ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• College degree or school certification preferred.
• Knowledge of computer systems, including hardware, software and networking required.
• Experience with repairs, staff development, technology changes, articulation skills, congeniality and integrity necessary.
• CompTIA A+ certification required.
• CompTIA Network+ certification required (equivalent CCNA, MCP, etc).

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to help-desk requests and meets deadlines on assigned projects.
• Maintains SLA guidelines and supports district IT operations.
• Minimum five years experience with on-premise and remote help desk support.
• Minimum three years experience with Windows Active Directory.
• Minimum three years computer networking experience.
• Maintains inventory and repair/maintenance records.
• Collaborates with vendors for repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Works as part of the technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues.
