Western Wyoming Community College is seeking an Information Technology Student Worker (Federal Work-Study) to provide enterprise-wide IT support to students, faculty, and staff. The role includes help desk assistance, remote desktop support, and classroom A/V troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates are enrolled students with strong customer service and communication skills, ready to learn. Work-study eligibility and a flexible schedule are required; hours depend on the Federal Work Study program.

Qualifications

• Student must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during Spring or Fall.
• Interest in technology; prior technical support helpful but not required.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills; reliability and responsibility required.
• Eligible for Federal Work Study; work hours contingent on academic schedule and program rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide IT support to students, faculty, and staff via Help Desk, remote desktop, and other channels.
• Respond to tickets, document updates, resolve issues after training, and escalate complex problems to full-time staff.
• Provide classroom A/V support, including troubleshooting and setup for projectors, displays, microphones, cameras, and videoconferencing equipment.
• Assist users with password resets, MFA, account access, and other identity-related issues per college security procedures.
• Perform basic computer configuration, troubleshooting, and minor repairs as trained.
• Assist with setup and relocation of IT equipment.
• Assist with technology inventory and maintaining an orderly IT workspace.
• Participate in IT projects and other technology support activities as assigned.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
