Western Wyoming Community College is seeking an Information Technology Student Worker (Federal Work-Study) to provide enterprise-wide IT support to students, faculty, and staff. The role includes help desk assistance, remote desktop support, and classroom A/V troubleshooting.

Job Description Summary
1. Provide enterprise-wide technical support to students, faculty, and staff through the Help Desk, remote desktop, and other support channels.
2. Respond to support requests, document and update Help Desk tickets, resolve technical issues after training, and elevate more complex issues to full-time IT staff.
3. Provide classroom audiovisual support, including troubleshooting, equipment checks, assistance during classes or events, and setup and support for projectors, displays, microphones, cameras, and videoconferencing equipment.
5. Assist users with password resets, multifactor authentication, account access, and other identity-related issues in accordance with college procedures and security requirements.
6. Perform computer configuration, troubleshooting, and minor repair tasks after appropriate training.
7. Assist with the setup and relocation of IT equipment.
8. Assist with technology inventory, equipment organization, and maintenance of orderly IT work areas.
9. Participate in IT projects and other technology support activities as assigned.
10. Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Student must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours to qualify during the Spring or Fall semester.
2. Demonstrated interest in and aptitude for logical reasoning and technology; prior technical support experience is helpful but not required.
3. Strong customer-service and communication skills, reliability, responsibility, and a willingness to learn are required. Training will be provided for college-supported systems, equipment, and procedures.
4. The applicant must be a student at Western Wyoming College who is eligible for a current award with the Federal Work Study Program. Work hours are contingent upon your current academic schedule. The duration of this position is contingent upon the Federal Work Study Program regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Previous experience with customer service, computer support, audiovisual technology, or common productivity software is helpful.
2. Selected students may be considered for separate summer employment based on performance, availability, funding, and departmental need.
