Job summary

LCBC Church is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to be the first point of contact for IT and Production Services (AVL) support. You will triage tickets, communicate clearly, and ensure issues are routed, documented and resolved efficiently, delivering a customer-first experience.

This role supports ministry through technology and production, maintains documentation, and collaborates with staff and volunteers while meeting after-hours needs and weekend coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing frontline IT/AVL support and triaging tickets.
• Ability to document issues clearly and maintain records.
• Comfort with after-hours support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for IT and AVL support requests.
• Triage, prioritize, route tickets, and ensure follow-up.
• Communicate clearly and warmly with staff and volunteers.
• Document resolutions and maintain accessible guides.
• Support ordering tech equipment and vendor coordination.
