Job summary

Bay Converting Inc. is seeking an IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support professional in Green Bay, WI. You will maintain a mostly virtualized desktop environment, resolve end-user issues, install hardware/software, and support the internal IT team.

You will manage endpoints, printers, servers, and licenses, perform PC maintenance, upgrades, and configurations, and assist with onboarding of new users. A HS diploma is required; an associate's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate's degree preferred.
• 2 years of relevant technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary helpdesk phone support and resolve problems to end user satisfaction.
• Monitor and respond quickly to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
• Monitor Service Desk tickets and process by priority.
• Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings for local workstation/peripherals.
• Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software.
• Document internal procedures.
• Assist with onboarding of new users.
• Ensure each workstation has necessary equipment.
• Install, test and configure new workstations and software.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and licenses.
• Escalate issues to appropriate teams.
• Manage workstation setup for new employees using standard images and software.
• Assign users/computers to proper groups in Active Directory.
• Perform timely hardware/software upgrades.
• Other duties as assigned.
