Job summary

The Bay Family of Companies is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to maintain our mainly virtualized desktop environment and support end users and the internal IT team. You will administer and assist with the company’s thin client endpoints, laptops, printers, servers, and related equipment, performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations.

Daily duties include answering helpdesk calls, monitoring tickets, configuring hardware, installing software, managing inventory and licenses, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant technical experience preferred.
• Ability to resolve end-user issues and perform PC maintenance.
• Strong customer service and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary helpdesk phone support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
• Monitor and respond quickly to IT helpdesk requests.
• Assist with onboarding of new users.
• Deploy and configure new workstations and software.
• Maintain inventory and license tracking.
• Assign users/computers to proper AD groups.
• Escalate issues as needed.
• Document internal procedures.
