Job summary

GoodWork Staffing seeks an IT Generalist to provide hands-on technical support across our client organizations. This full-time role includes day-to-day help desk tasks, equipment setup and lifecycle management, on-site troubleshooting, and IT reporting.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience), 1–2 years in IT support, strong Windows and networking skills, and familiarity with Google Workspace and Sage X3.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows and general networking/troubleshooting fundamentals; exposure to Linux a plus.
• Experience with or exposure to Google Workspace.
• Experience with or exposure to Sage X3 preferred, basic Sage X3 troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time hands-on technical support across the company.
• Handle day-to-day help desk needs and IT reporting.
• Equipment setup and lifecycle management; on-site troubleshooting.
• Move throughout facility departments to assist users as needed.

IT Generalist

IT Generalist Pay: $24-30/hours DOE Summary: Provides full-time, hands-on technical support across the company, handling day-to-day help desk needs, equipment setup and lifecycle management, on-site troubleshooting, and IT reporting. We are looking for someone who has experience with the following:

• Sage X3
• Google Workspace
• Internal customer service/client service-focused

Qualification Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 1–2 years of experience in a help desk, IT support, or systems support role preferred
• Working knowledge of Windows and general networking/troubleshooting fundamentals; exposure to Linux a plus
• Experience with or exposure to Google platform
• Experience with or exposure to Sage X3 preferred, as the role may involve basic Sage X3 troubleshooting
• Familiarity with additional business systems such as ClicData or StarShip is a plus but not required
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset when supporting employees
• Ability to manage multiple support requests and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable moving throughout facility departments and, occasionally, standing/lifting equipment (e.g., monitors, PCs) #INDCORE
