Job summary

Scion Staffing, Inc. is seeking an IT Field Tech for our client in the Phoenix metro area. This full-time, on-site role supports 15 healthcare locations, balancing remote helpdesk with local site travel to deploy hardware and fix connectivity.

You will be the primary technical contact for field sites, troubleshooting Windows 10/11, networking basics, and provisioning new hires, with opportunities to work alongside IT leadership and potentially receive a company vehicle in the future.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on skills resolving Windows 10/11 OS faults, login/MFA issues, and workstation errors.
• Solid understanding of fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, cabling, and basic switch connectivity).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical staff.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for daily multi-site travel.
• 2–4 years of dedicated IT support experience (Desktop Support, Helpdesk, or Field Technician).
• Experience supporting multi-site environments or structured internal corporate IT infrastructure preferred.
• Practical experience operating within Microsoft 365 environments and utilizing enterprise ticketing systems.

• User Provisioning: Handle physical IT setup and hardware configuration for new hire onboarding and site deployments.
• Documentation: Maintain precise inventory tracking of physical assets and log all technical solutions in the internal knowledge base.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The IT Field Tech provides hands‑on, tier 1‑2 IT support across multiple regional sites. This role balances remote helpdesk troubleshooting with local site travel to deploy hardware, resolve network connectivity issues, and maintain physical infrastructure. As the primary technical point of contact for field locations, this position is vital to minimizing operational downtime and ensuring staff have seamless access to critical systems.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
