Job summary

TekWissen LLC is seeking an IT Field Engineer/ IT Computer Technician for a 14‑month temporary assignment. The role involves driving to client sites to perform PC hardware break-fix and onsite desktop support, with mileage reimbursement. Requires reliable transportation and an A+ certification.

Support includes installing and maintaining computer hardware and software across multiple locations. Pay is $22.00–$25.00 per hour, with standard driving duties and equipment troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Experience installing and supporting desktop hardware and software.
• Familiarity with hardware repair and preventive maintenance.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Take PC hardware break-fix calls at various locations.
• Provide onsite desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware and software.
• Perform hardware replacements, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

As this is a driving role, there will be mileage reimbursement. For the first 225 miles, you’ll be reimbursed at 0.585 cents per mile and after 225 miles, it will be 0.26 cents per mile.
