Ntegra IT is seeking a motivated Field / Bench Technician in Virginia Beach, VA to assist with hardware deployment, system setup, troubleshooting, and proactive maintenance for business clients.

This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who enjoys hands-on work with computers, networking equipment, and end-user support. Training and mentoring are provided, along with opportunities for professional certification and career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience building, configuring, and repairing computers.
• Experience with Windows/Office and macOS/iOS/Android devices.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onsite delivery, installation, and configuration of workstations, servers, and networking equipment.
• Perform hardware setup, upgrades, and repairs in bench and field environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for business clients.
• Provide basic end-user support and help resolve workstation and device issues.
• Perform proactive maintenance on systems, operating systems, and hardware.
• Assist senior engineers with tickets, deployments, and infrastructure projects.
• Document solutions and procedures in knowledge base and docs.
