Hexmodal Technologies Inc is seeking its first IT & Facilities Manager to keep our IT and workspace running smoothly in NYC. You’ll own the day-to-day operation of IT infrastructure and the office space, building processes and vendor relationships for years to come.

As the first person in this role, you’ll partner with People and Engineering to enforce security best practices, manage budgets, and plan for growth, moves, and business continuity while delivering an excellent in-office experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT support or systems administration and/or facilities/office management.
• Hands-on troubleshooting for hardware/software and device management.
• Experience with vendor management and office operations.
• Strong budgeting, project management, and vendor negotiation skills.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networks, and SaaS tools to ensure reliability, security, and good employee experience.
• Run day-to-day IT helpdesk support, resolve employee issues quickly, and build self-serve resources to reduce recurring tickets.
• Manage lifecycle of company equipment: procurement, provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, asset tracking, and repairs.
• Own facilities operations for the office(s): day-to-day maintenance, safety, seating/space planning, and vendor coordination.
• Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships across IT and facilities to ensure cost-effective service.
• Partner with People and Engineering to enforce IT security best practices including access management and data protection.
• Own budget planning and tracking for IT and facilities spend, identifying opportunities to save costs without lowering quality.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans for IT systems and workspace.
• Plan and execute office moves or expansions as the company grows.
