Job summary

Velociti Services is seeking an IT Engineer in Atlanta to manage and support our IT infrastructure. You will install hardware/software, troubleshoot issues, and ensure network security while providing user support across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in IT, strong skills in Windows and Linux, and experience with Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud platforms. A team player who communicates well will thrive in our fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
2–5 years of IT support, system administration, or network engineering experience.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN).
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, and peripherals.
Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Provide technical support to employees through phone, email, or onsite assistance.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Perform system upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
Ensure the security of IT systems by implementing security policies, antivirus solutions, and software updates.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, software licensing, and technical support.
Support the implementation of new technologies and IT projects.
Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry best practices.
