The University of Kansas is seeking an IT Engineer to coordinate administration of Linux and Windows based applications and web sites on campus servers. This role works with ITES, DBAs, customers, and vendors and participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

The position focuses on the Automic enterprise scheduling platform and the Sunapsis application for the Office of International Support Services, with a strong emphasis on security, upgrades, and documentation.

Competenze

• Five years of relevant professional experience or an Associate’s degree with three years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree with one year of experience.
• Three years of experience administering web technologies such as IIS and Tomcat.
• Three years of experience managing applications on Linux and Windows Server 2016+.

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise applications on Linux and Windows servers.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security of applications.
• Troubleshoot with customers, infrastructures teams, DBAs, and vendors.
