Job summary

Excellus BCBS is seeking a Summer College Intern to gain hands-on experience in enterprise software deployment and modern endpoint management. You will work on real projects under mentors, learning to package applications, manage devices, and support patching and Intune deployments.

You will explore Windows 11 administration, PowerShell scripting, and SCCM/MECM workflows while contributing to team initiatives and gaining exposure to flexible work arrangements and a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a computing sciences or IT degree with good academic standing.
• Interest in endpoint management, software deployment, and automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn from mentors and contribute to projects.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise software.
• Assist with packaging and installation using MSI, MSIX, EXE and vendor installers.
• Help validate silent install parameters and generate deployment logs.
• Assist MECM/SCCM activities: collections, deployments, content distribution.
• Engage in patch management and Intune-based deployment initiatives.
• Collaborate on projects to improve endpoint security and deployment efficiency.
