Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc. offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program designed for undergraduate and graduate students. You will gain hands-on experience in end user computing, software packaging, and modern endpoint management under mentorship from senior engineers.

Projects cover MECM/SCCM, Intune, patch management, and device deployment, with development workshops and cross-divisional collaboration. Housing is not provided; up to 40 hours/week during the program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Computing Sciences or IT-related program(s).
• Strong interest in endpoint management, systems administration, and automation.
• Experience with Windows 11 administration or power user tasks is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise software and devices.
• Assist with packaging and deploying software using MSI, MSIX, EXE, and vendor installers.
• Work with MECM/SCCM for device collections, content distribution, and deployment monitoring.
• Assist with Intune deployment, configuration profiles, and co-management initiatives.
• Participate in patching, vulnerability management, and documenting remediation actions.
