Job summary

Tarlton Corporation, a St. Louis-based general contractor, seeks a Director of Information Technology to lead the technology function, set strategy, and partner with MSPs to deliver reliable systems across offices and job sites.

You will own cybersecurity, data governance, and vendor performance, oversee Viewpoint Vista, Procore, and related platforms, and drive analytics, automation, and change management to enable safe, efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of progressive IT experience, including at least three years leading a function or team.
• Experience leading technology in organizations with MSPs or major vendors.
• Familiarity with client- or federally driven security frameworks.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms for executives and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company's technology roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Oversee IT operating and capital budgets; manage MSP performance and vendor relationships.
• Own cybersecurity, data governance, and business continuity initiatives across the organization.
• Oversee critical systems such as Viewpoint Vista and Procore and ensure proper configuration and integration.
• Lead technology adoption through change management, training, and stakeholder engagement.
