Job summary

A managed services provider handles day-to-day infrastructure, with the director holding them to service levels and aligning technology with business priorities. The role leads cross-functional prioritization, partners with executives, and guides AI initiatives while maturing the technology function

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of progressive IT experience, including at least three years leading a function.
• Experience with MSP environments and vendor partnerships.
• Familiarity with client- or federally driven security frameworks.
• Proven ability to prioritize across departments and gain stakeholder support.
• Solid cybersecurity foundations: IAM, endpoint protection, backup, incident response.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the technology roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Oversee IT budgets, governance, and policies.
• Lead MSP relationships and day-to-day technology delivery.
• Own data governance, analytics, and AI initiatives with business leaders.
• Ensure cybersecurity risk management and business continuity planning.
• Lead and develop the internal technology team and drive adoption across the organization.
