Job summary

Beale Infrastructure Group seeks a Director of Information Technology to own the day-to-day corporate tech environment in Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA. This hands-on role collaborates with a managed IT partner and the VP of Corporate Security to implement IAM, device management, and a scalable productivity stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, CS, or related field.
• 8+ years hands-on IT administration/engineering in a high-growth company.
• Experience deploying and administering an enterprise identity platform (Okta preferred).
• Deep expertise with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace; cross-platform migrations preferred.
• Experience managing Mac/Windows fleets via MDM; strong networking skills.
• Experience managing a managed services provider and producing audit evidence.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer Beale's corporate technology environment (M365, Google Workspace, IAM, devices).
• Maintain and migrate email, calendar, files, chat, and collaboration.
• Design and administer IAM with SSO/SAML and OIDC integrations.
• Configure Defender, Intune, Entra conditional access, and Purview with Security VP.
• Operate day-to-day IAM: onboarding apps, access reviews, least-privilege."
• Manage mixed device fleet via MDM, encryption, patching, inventory.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding with HR and IT services partner.
• Direct MSP tickets, escalations, projects, service levels.
• Oversee office tech in US offices and field site connectivity.
• Implement backup/recovery for cloud data and verify restores.
• Administer IT/SaaS vendors: licensing, renewals, spend, rationalization.
• Build IT controls for ISO 27001 and audit readiness: processes and evidence.
• Strong AI fluency or willingness to adopt AI in daily work.
