Job summary

Beale Infrastructure Group seeks a Director of Information Technology to own and operate the corporate IT environment. You will drive IAM strategy, manage a mixed device fleet, and coordinate with an MSP and VP of Corporate Security to ensure secure, productive operations.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and enterprise security tools, plus experience leading IT in a high-growth environment. Seattle or San Francisco base with strong operational impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on IT administration and/or engineering experience in a lean, high-growth company.
• Experience deploying and administering an enterprise identity platform (Okta preferred).
• Deep expertise with Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender) and Google Workspace.
• Experience managing Mac and Windows devices through MDM; practical networking skills.
• Experience directing a managed services provider and owning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate Beale's corporate technology environment, including identity, devices, networks, and business apps.
• Design, deploy, and administer IAM foundation with SSO/SAML, OIDC, and provisioning across SaaS estate.
• Configure security capabilities (Defender, Intune, Entra conditional access, Purview).
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding, access reviews, and least-privilege policies with HR and MSP.
• Manage office tech in U.S. sites and ensure reliable connectivity for field teams.
• Build IT controls for ISO 27001 and audit readiness; collaborate with leadership.
