Job summary

Affinity Group in the United States is seeking an IT Director to lead day-to-day technology operations across a hybrid, multi-office workforce. You will oversee IT support, infrastructure, security, and vendor relationships while partnering with leadership to align technology with business goals.

The role manages Microsoft 365, on-premises servers, network gear, and security programs, drives AI governance, and leads technology rollouts with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on IT experience.
• Experience managing IT operations, systems administration, or a help desk/support function.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and Entra ID administration.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization (Hyper-V).
• Security, backup, and disaster recovery planning experience.
• Vendor and license management across hardware, software, and telecoms.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations across a hybrid, multi-office organization.
• Lead IT help desk, prioritize requests, and track recurring issues.
• Administer core business systems and platforms, coordinating upgrades and access management.
• Implement data security, backup, and disaster recovery practices; monitor for vulnerabilities.
• Manage vendor relationships, MSP, and telecom carriers; handle renewals and security assessments.
• Plan and track IT budgets; evaluate new tools and equipment purchases.
• Lead technology rollouts and office setups from planning to deployment and training.
• Oversee AI governance and ensure policy compliance across tools.
