Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Director to lead a team delivering enterprise IAM services, including workforce authentication, customer authentication, and directory services. The role partners with leadership to define strategic IAM vision, roadmaps, and metrics, focusing on innovation, standardization, and talent development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of information security experience with a focus on IAM.
• 8+ years IAM engineering/operational experience.
• Experience with IAM platforms such as MS Entra ID, MS Active Directory, Okta, Auth0, and Netwrix.
• Extensive knowledge of authentication services including SAML, OIDC, and MFA.
• Experience in managing multi-domain forests and consolidating services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IAM department and manage a team delivering global IAM services.
• Execute the IAM strategy and multi-year plan across workforce, customer authentication, and directory services.
• Design and document IAM solutions with architecture, use cases, requirements, and test cases.
• Ensure IAM platforms are operational during business hours and drive automation and resiliency.
• Identify risks, issues and roadblocks and communicate with leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop and track department operational metrics and foster talent development.
