Job summary

Progyny, Inc. is seeking a Director of IT in the United States to lead and mentor high‑performing teams while acting as a hands‑on SME for core Microsoft technologies.

This role will architect and guard digital infrastructure, overseeing security posture, automation workflows, and identity management to drive business performance. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in IT leadership, deep Microsoft ecosystem expertise (Entra, Intune, Defender, M365), and a track record of building practical,

Qualifications

• 10 years in IT leadership roles with mentoring staff and managing vendor relationships.
• Hands-on Microsoft Entra, Intune, Defender, and M365 experience.
• Proficiency in Power Automate or n8n and building custom business solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud and integrating with business processes.
• Experience with SOC2, SOX or other control standards.
• Ability to translate vulnerabilities or architectural needs into clear business cases for leadership.
• Team management experience with ability to bring out the best in the team.

Responsibilities

• Direct the IT department's roadmap and align tech investments with growth.
• Oversee security, identity, and device management (Entra, Defender, Intune, JAMF).
• Lead the adoption of Power Platform to digitize workflows.
• Govern Microsoft 365 tenancy including Teams, SharePoint and Exchange.
• Support AI rollout to strengthen IT and business performance.
• Foster proactive handling of day-to-day tasks and emergencies.
