Job summary

Jane Pauley Community Health Center is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join the Information Technology team. This role provides hands-on support for hardware, software, and end-user systems to ensure reliable operations that enable patient care.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and connectivity, install and configure equipment, and collaborate with IT staff and vendors to improve processes in a mission-driven health center context.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of PC hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for hardware, software, and end-user systems
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and connectivity issues
• Support network and telecommunications systems as needed
• Document, track, and resolve user support requests promptly
• Install, configure, and relocate desktop equipment and peripherals
• Manage hardware inventory and lifecycle maintenance
• Collaborate with IT team and vendors to resolve issues and improve processes
