Job summary

University of Maryland's Division of Information Technology (DIT) is seeking an IT Desktop Support Coordinator to join the Platform Services team. The role supports desktop computers, applications, and audiovisual equipment, and includes leading desktop support projects and direct user consulting.

This essential position requires independent and team-based problem solving, adherence to standards, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• One (1) year of professional information technology experience.
• Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktop computers, applications, and audiovisual equipment.
• Lead and coordinate desktop support projects.
• Provide one-on-one consulting with end users and the University community.
