Job summary

enGen is seeking an experienced leader to provide operational leadership for the data governance team supporting IT projects. You will create plans, manage activities, and guide the transition to Certified Data Products by establishing enterprise standards and managing the Data Marketplace.

The role includes leading cross-functional governance, risk assessment, and process improvements while aligning with Highmark Health’s enterprise data strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, MIS, CS or closely related discipline.
• 5 years in a leadership/mentoring role.
• 5 years of planning, implementing, maintaining and growing capabilities within relevant discipline.
• 3 years of developing, communicating and presenting concepts to varying audience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization: manage customer expectations, plan meetings, and represent Highmark with outside entities.
• Identify issues and recommend solutions; create presentations and present concepts to clients of varying levels and sizes.
• Organize, direct and coordinate cross-functional activities; encourage innovation and allocate resources for successful delivery.
• Oversee governance activities, analyze issues, assess impact of strategic changes, and manage departmental plans and budgets.
