Job summary

Sterling Engineering seeks a Network & Cybersecurity Specialist to lead IT infrastructure projects in a manufacturing setting. You will drive digital transformation, ensure cybersecurity compliance, and partner with corporate IT, engineering, and plant operations to optimize network performance.

You will manage hardware and software upgrades, implement Industry 4.0 tools, and develop standardized digital tools and dashboards that reduce manual work and improve production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in controls/automation related role.
• Minimum 3 years of related professional experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerApps, and Office.
• Strong IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and network management knowledge.
• Ability to understand end-to-end manufacturing processes and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital transformation initiatives including Industry 4.0 tech and dashboards.
• Ensure cybersecurity standards and corporate security requirements.
• Coordinate with corporate IT and global manufacturing teams on site initiatives.
• Manage IT projects involving hardware/software upgrades and network improvements.
• Develop digital manufacturing apps and integrate production data with data systems.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce waste.
• Maintain cybersecurity plans for updates, patches, and remediation.
• Automate reporting on productivity, waste, costs, and losses.
• Lead OT network maintenance and optimization.
• Document SOPs for digital tools and train staff.
