With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center, 1 Linwa Boulevard, Anderson, SC 29621. It provides Information Technology assistance across the three-county catchment areas of the center.

Under limited supervision, provides a variety of center-wide tasks involving office automation and technological communications. This includes network control, systems installation, maintenance, hardware/software applications, user assistance, and training. Sets up user access within the network. Serves as a member of the System Administration Team focusing on hardware and software. Must be able to travel between the Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens areas.
High school diploma and experience in office automation systems, data communications, or related fields. An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for experience.
Knowledge of network services, data communications, network design, and equipment configuration. Familiarity with office automation, information processing, fiber optics, micro/minicomputer hardware/software, and multiplexers. Ability to present technical reports clearly and establish effective relationships. Valid SC Driver's License required.
