Agency Mission: With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
Location: This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center, 1 Linwa Boulevard, Anderson, SC 29621.
Job Summary: This position provides Information Technology assistance for the three-county catchment areas of the Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center. Under limited supervision, the role involves office automation and technological communications, including network control, systems installation and maintenance, hardware and software support, user assistance, and training. The candidate must be able to travel between the Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens areas.
Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, sales, marketing, or data processing. An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for experience.
Additional Agency Requirements: Knowledge of network services, data communications, network design, equipment configuration, office automation, information processing, fiber optics, microcomputers, and voice/data network connectivity. Ability to present reports clearly and establish effective working relationships. Must possess a valid SC Driver's License.
