Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies - Workers Compensation Division is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst 2 to bridge IT and business units, translating needs into actionable tech solutions. You will analyze systems, document requirements, and support testing and UAT to ensure quality outcomes.

Your role includes collaborating with product owners, DevOps, and data teams to optimize processes, implement dashboards, and maintain data integrity in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with low code platforms; SQL and data visualization tools preferred.
• Experience with microservices architecture, containerization, and modern cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, or containerization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and objectives.
• Gather detailed requirements for new systems or enhancements through interviews, workshops, and analysis.
• Work with architects, developers, and DevOps to design scalable solutions and validate feasibility.
• Develop functional specifications, system design requirements, and workflow diagrams.
• Lead UAT sessions and ensure product readiness through testing and validation.
