Job summary

GreenWaste is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst I to join our team in San Jose, California. You will support day-to-day administration of business applications, manage user profiles, access, security, and configurations, and assist with testing, data conversions, and license tracking across departments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in information systems, computer science, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting or administering business applications.
• Experience with user account administration, application security, system configuration, software licensing, application support, or related responsibilities.
• Experience assisting with application testing, upgrades, implementations, data conversion, or data validation in a team environment.
• English proficiency; Spanish-language ability is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support assigned business applications in accordance with procedures and service expectations.
• Set up, modify, review, and deactivate application user accounts, roles, permissions, and security access based on approved requests.
• Set up and maintain codes, reference values, tables, workflows, and other application configurations.
• Maintain records of configurations, security assignments, system codes, and support procedures.
• Track software licenses, subscriptions, renewals, users, and utilization; assist with license reconciliation.
• Respond to support requests, perform routine troubleshooting, and escalate complex problems.
• Assist with patches, upgrades, and new implementations by preparing test data and tracking defects.
• Support user acceptance testing by coordinating access, test cases, and issue logs.
