Job summary

GreenWaste Recovery LLC, based in San Jose, CA, is seeking an IT Network Administrator to implement, monitor, secure, and support the company’s enterprise network infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. This hands-on role reports to the Director of Infrastructure & Cyber Security and will manage LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, SD-WAN, and voice services.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity, with strong vendor management and leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
7+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, networking, and cybersecurity.
Experience leading infrastructure and cybersecurity operations in a multi-site, hybrid-cloud environment.
CISSP or CISM certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, internet, VPN, SD-WAN, firewall, and voice services across offices and cloud environments.
Configure and support routers, switches, wireless APs/controllers, firewalls, and related platforms.
Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security; investigate alerts and incidents and document root cause.
Lead the design, implementation, and operation of hybrid LAN/WAN and cloud-connected networks across sites.
Maintain security posture and containment for incidents; coordinate with security partners and vendors.
