Job summary

GreenState Insurance Services LLC is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst to gather and analyze business requirements and support systems that drive decisions. You will help standardize tools, artifacts, and process documentation while working across stakeholders in a financial services environment.

The role covers daily operations, system testing, release management, integration projects, and contingency planning to ensure reliable applications.

Qualifications

• College degree in computer science or business management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5–7 years in an individual contributor Business Analyst role.
• Financial services industry experience preferred.
• Salesforce experience a plus.
• Prefer experience with Jack Henry technologies, specifically Episys, Synapsys, and Synergy.
• Requirements gathering and documentation experience.
• Experience working with configurable enterprise systems.
• Basic knowledge of PC software and systems; technical aptitude; and desire to learn.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with discretion and judgment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow up on assigned tasks and document activities.
• Ability to work with highly confidential information in a discretionary manner.
• Good analytical skills with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal to moderate supervision

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and user requirements.
• Analyze systems; identify solutions to new business processes.
• Lead client sessions and act as SME on requirements.
• Support testing, contingency planning, and change management.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure availability of applications.
• Train new employees and provide guidance to teams.
