City of Philadelphia is seeking a Business Analyst to guide IT services and business processes within the Office of Innovation & Technology. You’ll gather requirements, align with strategic priorities, and work with cross-functional teams to improve processes and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes governance, agile practices, and performance reporting, with a collaborative culture and a strong focus on inclusive service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum seven (7) years work experience, preferably within IT, and five (5) years business analysis experience.
• Extensive experience with MS Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering (interview users, analyze processes, set objectives, evaluate functionality) to improve services.
• Write use cases and assist in prioritization of features and functionality for systems.
• Coordinate with development and PMO during testing and implementation; act as voice of the customer.
