Job summary

The City of Philadelphia is actively seeking a Business Analyst to guide IT-related business processes within the Office of Innovation & Technology. You will gather requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure solutions meet customer needs and strategic priorities.

You will uphold a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while supporting enterprise PMO initiatives and service delivery for city departments and residents.

Qualifications

• Completion of a bachelor’s degree program in a relevant field (CS or IS).
• Minimum seven (7) years’ work experience, five (5) years in business analysis.
• Extensive experience with MS Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Experience in leading or managing projects is a plus.
• Experience implementing Organizational Change Management is a plus.
• Experience in a large governmental environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the value of various business processes and encourage their use.
• Lead requirements gathering, interviews, and prioritization of features and functionality.
• Work with development and support teams on system functionality and use cases.
• Coordinate testing with subject matter experts and provide feedback to developers.
• Support Project and Portfolio Management and align initiatives with strategy.
