Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst / Product Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate translates business needs into actionable user stories and delivers solutions across integrated enterprise applications in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders, eliciting and refining requirements, creating user stories and acceptance criteria, and coordinating delivery across multiple teams while analyzing APIs and data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting technology delivery initiatives.
• Proficiency with Agile practices and Jira for backlog and workflow management.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of system integrations, RESTful APIs, data flows, and cross‑application dependencies.
• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, and business requirements documentation.
• Experience performing impact assessments and coordinating requirements across multiple applications and teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholder management across levels.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst / Product Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements analysis, Agile delivery, APIs, and complex system integrations and a proven ability to translate business needs into actionable user stories and deliver solutions across integrated enterprise applications.

Engagement Details

• Approved work location is Charlotte, NC with a hybrid schedule of at least 3 days onsite per week.
• Start month is Oct/Nov. One to two interview rounds. Video is required. In‑person is required. Glider ID verification applies.
• On resume, list current location, relocation plan, availability or start date, and cooling‑off status if applicable.
• Maximum of three submissions per vendor.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Merchant, Payments, or Order Management platforms and transaction‑processing systems.
• Familiarity with API‑first and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of data analysis and SQL for validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with large‑scale enterprise ecosystems and multiple system integrations.
• Banking or financial services domain exposure.
• SAFe Agile experience or relevant Agile certifications.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts and contributing to BA best practices.
