Job summary

WarHorse Gaming, a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., is seeking an IT Support Technician to install, configure, and maintain corporate IT/AV assets at our Lincoln, Nebraska locations. This full-time role supports 24/7 operations with swing shift responsibilities and on-site duties.

The position requires troubleshooting end-user issues, hardware repairs, and strong attention to asset documentation while adhering to safety and compliance standards. Travel between properties may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma.
• Two years of experience installing and troubleshooting Windows OS, desktop hardware, and Microsoft products; exposure to servers and network gear in a data center.
• One year in an Active Directory environment using tools such as WireShark, Fluke Meter, Altiris, and Ghost.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Previous casino setting experience.
• Experience with gaming systems, table game systems, cash-dispensing systems, and kiosk tech.

Responsibilities

• Support and uphold WarHorse Gaming's Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Assist in developing business continuity and disaster recovery plans; respond to crises as needed.
• Install, configure, test, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user devices, network hardware, printers, scanners, AV systems, and related software.
• Perform on-site analysis and resolution of IT/hardware problems; coordinate off-site repairs as needed.
• Provide AV support and coordinate with third-party AV vendors.
• Deliver training and support to end users and staff on equipment operation.
• Maintain inventories of IT hardware and networking equipment.
• Document all hardware incidents, repairs, installations, and removals.
• Track IT hardware contracts and installations.
• Respond to IT support requests via calls, pages, and emails.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
