Job summary

EMCOR Hyre Electric Co. of Indiana, Inc. is seeking an IT Assistant to support desktop and mobile devices, perform imaging, and help troubleshoot Windows and network issues. You will work under the IT Manager, handle printer setups, and maintain Active Directory/Entra accounts.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or IT technical training, with bonus for prior desktop support experience. This is a full-time on-site position based in Highland, Indiana.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical IT training preferred;heightened understanding of Windows OS and hardware setup.
• Experience as a desktop support technician or similar role is a plus.
• Demonstrated Windows computer skills and ability to work scheduled hours.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Able to read technical manuals and troubleshoot remotely/on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT Manager with hardware and software configuration and device setup, remotely or on-site.
• Handle network printer setup and workstation imaging.
• Respond to user inquiries and resolve software/hardware issues.
• Maintain and update Active Directory/Entra information and user accounts.
