Job summary

DreamWorks Animation in Glendale, CA is seeking an on-site IT technician to install, relocate and maintain computer workstations and hardware. You will perform software deployments, assist with cabling, and deliver high-quality staff support with clear, courteous communication.

The role requires hands-on hardware knowledge, familiarity with SCCM/Jamf, and the ability to handle asset inventories and ticketing systems. Occasional night/weekend shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Basic to intermediate hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Good mechanical ability and knowledge of computer hardware components.
• Detail oriented with eagerness to learn and grow technically.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently and meet deadlines.
• Wlexible schedule to support nights and weekends occasionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, installation and relocation of computer workstations and hardware.
• Perform software installation deskside and via remote tools.
• Assist with organization and cabling of technology equipment and setups.
• Provide professional staff support with courteous communication.
• Conduct daily asset inventory and update the Asset tracking database.
• Ensure timely ticket updates and resolution of ongoing tasks.
