Job summary

Ignite IT is seeking a Junior IT Asset Management Technician to support the daily operations of an enterprise IT Asset Management program. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, tracking, issuing, inventorying, relocating, and disposing of government-owned IT equipment while maintaining accurate asset records in ServiceNow (SNOW).

The ideal candidate has experience managing the full IT asset lifecycle, maintaining inventory accountability, and providing excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT Asset Management experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience using ServiceNow (SNOW) for IT Asset Management.
• Experience managing the complete IT asset lifecycle, including: Receiving, Inventory control, Asset issuance, Asset recovery, Asset relocation, Asset disposal.
• Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management.
• Experience performing physical inventories and inventory reconciliation.
• Knowledge of asset tagging and barcode systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, time management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities
