Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking an on-site IT Support Specialist in Glendale, CA to provide day-to-day operations support for DreamWorks Animation initiatives. You will service desktops across Linux, OSX, and Windows, triage incidents, and work with engineering to upgrade infrastructure.

Responsibilities include project participation, process improvements, license management, and documentation. Strong UNIX/Windows skills and a customer-focused approach are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in UNIX/Linux and/or Windows in enterprise env.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class end-user support via phone, tickets, and deskside visits.
• Triage and resolve incidents to minimize productivity loss.
• Support Linux/OSX/Windows desktops; build and maintain systems.
• Collaborate with System Engineers on studio initiatives.
• Lead small to medium size projects with timely outcomes.
• Create tools to automate processes and improve efficiency.
