Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking an IT asset management specialist to create, update, and maintain hardware and software asset records in ServiceNow throughout their lifecycle.

You will reconcile records with inventories, coordinate vendor quotes, and support stockroom operations while ensuring data integrity and compliance across IT assets at multiple sites. This role offers training and opportunities for advancement within CMC.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or supply chain.
• 2+ years IT asset management experience preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow and ITSM workflows.
• Strong data reconciliation and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain asset records in ServiceNow.
• Manage hardware/software asset lifecycle including procurement, deployment, transfers, and retirement.
• Reconcile asset records with inventories and procurement data.
• Produce reports and dashboards for inventory and lifecycle status.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotes and disposal activities.
• Maintain chain-of-custody documentation and audit records.
