Job summary

REI is seeking an IT Asset Management professional to maintain accurate hardware and software asset records, manage lifecycle activities, and support license compliance. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Technology, Procurement and Finance, and requires strong data skills.

The position is on-site at REI’s Sumner, WA location with 1–2 days per week on-site. The candidate should have 4+ years in ITAM or related fields and a solid software asset background.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT Asset Management or related technology operations.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management: inventory, assignment, refresh, recovery, retirement, disposal.
• Experience with ITAM tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow, Intune, SCCM or Jamf.
• Proficient in Excel, dashboards, reporting tools and data quality resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with partners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate hardware and software asset records across ITAM systems, CMDBs, and related tools.
• Coordinate asset lifecycle activities: intake, assignment, refresh, recovery, reuse, retirement, disposal.
• Manage software licenses, entitlement records, utilization analysis, and audit readiness.
• Create reports and dashboards on asset health, lifecycle status, and cost opportunities.
• Partner with Technology, Procurement, Finance, Security, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve issues.
• Identify underused or misaligned assets and support renewal and financial planning.
