Job summary

GCI Incorporated in Tysons, VA is seeking a Senior Information Systems Technology Asset Management Specialist to lead the governance, procurement, and lifecycle management of enterprise IT assets across a large, on-premises environment.

You will coordinate between Infrastructure Engineering, Finance, Procurement, leadership, and vendors to optimize asset records, budgets, and refresh strategies, delivering accurate reports and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of related experience.
• Ability to produce technical documentation, executive reports, budget reports, lifecycle documentation, asset inventories, procurement documentation, project documentation, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the enterprise inventory of technology assets throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive lifecycle plans for all infrastructure assets.
• Maintain enterprise lifecycle roadmaps for management planning.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive EOL/EOS tracking for all infrastructure technologies.
• Coordinate with multiple enterprise technology vendors.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure software licensing remains compliant with vendor agreements.
• Maintain detailed inventory and infrastructure documentation with version history.
• Support enterprise infrastructure financial planning and budgeting.
