The role emphasizes data accuracy in CMDB, procurement planning, audits, and collaboration with IT teams to protect national security. Travel up to 10% required; active Secret clearance is needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience in IT asset management or related fields.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience with asset lifecycle management, licensing, and inventory control.
• Familiarity with CMDB platforms such as ServiceNow or similar systems.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive hardware and software asset management throughout the asset lifecycle (acquisition to disposal).
• Maintain and optimize license data repository with vendor info, license fees, renewal dates, and compliance metrics.
• Manage end-to-end distribution, tracking, inventory control, and disposition of IT asset records with audits.
• Coordinate in-processing of incoming assets, testing, and vendor coordination for discrepancies.
• Use asset management and CMDB tools to maintain records with 95%+ data accuracy.
• Project future hardware and COTS software needs quarterly, analyzing usage and capacity.
• Monitor warranties, maintenance, and subscriptions, providing advance notifications to prevent gaps.
• Coordinate disposal and sanitization per DoS policies, NIST guidelines, environmental regs.
• Generate asset management reports for leadership including forecasting models.
• Collaborate with IT service delivery, procurement, and security for audits and inventory verifications.
