Job summary

Fulcrum Technology Solutions are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Senior Analyst for a client in the DFW metroplex to strengthen and advance their IT Asset Management program. This role will focus on improving asset visibility, data accuracy, lifecycle governance, automation, and reporting across hardware and software environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct Hardware Asset Management or IT Asset Management experience.
• Working knowledge of ITIL and ITAM frameworks.
• Understanding of CMDB relationships, data models, discovery, and reconciliation processes.
• Associate degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• In lieu of a degree, 4 years of direct IT Asset Management experience along with a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives that improve visibility, accuracy, and lifecycle governance across hardware and software assets.
• Analyze asset and CMDB relationships to identify inefficiencies, reduce risk, and uncover cost-saving opportunities.
• Optimize ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management capabilities, including HAM Pro/Enterprise.
• Improve discovery, reconciliation, reporting, and asset data quality processes.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, increase automation, and improve the internal user experience.
• Partner with IT, business, and other internal teams to align technology asset management with organizational needs.
• Contribute to ITAM strategy, roadmap planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help develop scalable and sustainable IT Asset Management processes and best practices.

What You'll Do

In your first 6-12 months, you will:

• Lead initiatives that improve visibility, accuracy, and lifecycle governance across hardware and software assets
• Analyze asset and CMDB relationships to identify inefficiencies, reduce risk, and uncover cost-saving opportunities
• Optimize ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management capabilities, including HAM Pro/Enterprise
• Improve discovery, reconciliation, reporting, and asset data quality processes
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, increase automation, and improve the internal user experience

Required Qualifications

Equivalent Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, or 7+ years of broader IT Asset Management experience
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow ITAM, particularly HAM Pro or Enterprise
• Solid understanding of ITIL/ITAM frameworks, CMDB structure, and IT asset lifecycle management
• Experience analyzing complex datasets and translating findings into actionable business improvements
• Experience improving ITAM processes through automation and workflow optimization

Nice to Have

• Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM)
• ITAM or ITIL certifications such as ITIL, CSAM, CHAMP, or CITAM
• Experience working in healthcare or other regulated environments
• Demonstrated interest in continuous improvement and developing scalable ITAM processes
